Cat Tails

Helloooo, I've been away for a very long time it seems and forgot to post on my blog! I've been busy growing up and now I'm almost 2. And though I havent written in my blog for a very long time I still have some fun pictures to share.

I know this is a mostly Kitty blog but I just had to show you my friend Lupe, she's a mini chihuahua. She's lots of fun and we like to play together sometimes. She belongs to my Auntie Kristen and when Kristen goes on vacation we get to keep Lupe at our house! Lupe chases me all over the house and then we get tired and rest for a little while. We get a lot of exercise and have fun while we're running. She's a nice dog, I like her.

I've grown up to be a pretty big kitty and I'm really shiny too! But I still like to play a lot and my Mom still laughs at me when I do funny tricks for her. I love to chase sparkly balls and my Mom made a video of me chasing them, I'll have to find it and post it so you can see. I like to hide them also and sometimes my Mom says she won't buy anymore because I keep hiding them. But I see her smiling and I know that she's just kidding. I love you Mom, thanks for buying me sparkly balls.

As usual its nap time! A kitty has to do what a Kitty has to do...zzzzzzzzz

Sophia Solana..a sunny place!

Hello again, I havent been able to write for a while cause my mom had the flu then she had a cough but she's better now.

I have been growing bigger every day and I learned how to run out the front door & down the stairs! My mom runs after me and catches me, I think its funny & fun...she's doesnt laugh when I do this.

 

I also found a some paper in the bathroom and I put it in my mouth and I ran down the hallway! I jumped on it and had fun biting it and making it smaller and smaller. My mom came into the hallway and she was not happy. She took my fun paper and put it back in the bathroom :( I think I will find something else to play with....hmm but what?

Its time for a kitty nap...I seem to take a lot of those. I can jump & climb all the way to the top of my kitty house and sleep all the way on the top. I feel safe when Im on the very top. My mom is making me another part to my kitty house thats even higher! I cant wait :)

Happy Hoppy Easter to all my Kitten friends

Hoppy Easter everyone! What did you get for Easter? My Mom gave me some brightly colored eggs to play with, I run and chase them all over the house. I chased a yellow one into a box and tried for a very long time to get it but I couldnt. Its too big for my mouth so I have to push it with my paw, it rolls around and around and is fun to watch. I also have a blue egg too and I pushed it under the couch so I cant get that one either.

My mom is making something good to eat for Easter Dinner , I can smell it in the kitchen. Maybe she will give me some of what she's making when she is done. She usually  only gives me kitty treats even though I really try to look my cutest when shes eating. She said that the kitty treats are better for me, they taste very good so maybe they are better. I didnt used to like the fish treats but Im growing up so I think I like them better now.

My kitty tree looks like a good place to take a nap right now and I have been chasing my tinfoil ball around for awhile so I feel a litte tired.

Tiger the Cat

Hi ! its Sophia and I have a special Cat to tell you about. His name is Tiger and he was a very big Cat. He used to live with my Mom before I came along, he's really cool looking. I wish that I would have met Tiger, he looks like he would have liked to have someone to play with.  We would have loved being friends I just know it. I remember this blanket :) when I came to live with my Mom she let me lay on it, its a nice, warm, comfy blanket. I was very warm in this blanket. Tiger  probably liked it too, he looks like he did in this picture. He had pretty green eyes and an orange nose. I have green eyes sometimes but most of the time they are gold. I wish I had Tiger to play with.

My Mom said that Tiger went to heaven 2 yrs ago. I asked my Mom what she thought heaven was like and did she think that Tiger was having fun. She said that heaven is full of love and happiness, she said that Tiger is having lots of fun, running, jumping and feeling great. I'm happy to hear that he's happy, it makes me happy too.

Well I think I will take a nap, I like to take naps it makes me purrrr. And when I purrrr, it makes me feel very comfy & cozy..and it makes my Mom smile.

I love my Mom and I love when she smiles.

Im a Scared Kitty

Hi, its Sophia :) Its raining and thundering outside, it makes me scared. Its been raining all night and then today it started to thunder, its really loud. It makes me jump when I hear that noise so I ran from my Mom's bedroom to the living room a few times. I think Im going to run up on my tree, I feel safe when Im on my tree.

I need to find my Mom, she will make this all better. She said it would be ok and I should stay on my kitty tree and I would feel better. I think I will take a kitty nap.

Kitty for a Day

I'm growing soo fast that I cant believe it. I think in my last post I was really nervous but I feel much more comfortable now.

I woke my mom up this morning by jumping on the bed and snuggling up to her neck. She patted me on the head and rubbed my belly. I love to have my belly rubbed. Im mostly black as you can see but I have a few white patches on my belly, chest and under my arms.

(this is my cousin Leo, he has six toes on each foot!)

I like to sleep and play on my kitty house, its fun. I can see everything from the top of my house and no one can reach me. I feel safe when Im sleeping on the top of my kitty house.

Im hungry, I think I'll eat some kitty food and then maybe drink some water. I like to drink water from the bathroom faucet. Yesterday I was feeling very playful and decided to take the stopper out of the bathroom sink and run away with it. My mom saw me and she took it away. Now I have to find something else to do. Oh yah, I forgot, Im hungry.

Im so Kitty

more pictures..............I'm growing....and I'm having so much fun! I play and jump and run..... someone needs to see this! Im having a really amazing time. I love being a kitty, its so great. My names Sophia....and this is my life thanks to my Mom. I was very interested in the paper that was in this container and as I jumped in...I thought, what shall I do while im in here? I think I will play with the paper for awhile. I played with the paper for a little bit and then I wanted to get out but I think Im kinda stuck. Im still too little to get out of some places but Im growing and some day I will be able to jump in AND out!  I'm going to mew...and see if my Mom will come to get me out. I waited and waited...................cause Im not big enough to get out by myself. I really didnt mind being in here cause there's lots to do with paper. I would like to read but I'm still learning so I will just play with it for now. I think that my mom will teach me to read someday, she's great, she says stuff like "kitty" KIT T Y" I love  her. We play fetch and I chase the ball,...and bring it back..its fun...she laughs, I love it.
